Tea brews wonderfully with a richer flavor!
Tea brewed with alkaline ionized water has a richer flavor due to the water’s excellent elution capability. Therefore, fewer tea leaves are needed.
In green tea, great amounts of vitamin C are also eluted. According to experimental data, the amount of vitamin C present in 100g of green tea decoction is 3.2mg in purified water, and is more than doubled to 6.9mg in alkaline ionized water.
In all three cycles, more catechin was present in the green tea decoctions prepared using alkaline ionized water.

Let’s make tea with alkaline ionized water!
Barley tea (0 kcal per serving)
・Ingredients (suitable amount):
10 cups of alkaline ionized water, one pack of barley tea (for cold tea)
・Directions:1. Put 5 cups of alkaline ionized water and a barley tea pack in a container for making cold tea, and put the container in a refrigerator for approximately one hour.
2. Transfer the barley tea pack to another container filled with 5 cups of alkaline ionized water, and refrigerate it in the same way.
[Point] You can make twice as much barley tea as before.
Mint Tea (20 kcal per serving)
・Ingredients (4 servings):Tea (1 tablespoon if leaves are finely cut, 2 tablespoons if leaves are coarsely cut), 2 cups of hot alkaline ionized water, 2 tablespoons of sugar, an appropriate number of ice cubes made of alkaline ionized water, 4 mint leaves
・Directions:1. Put tea leaves in a preheated teapot, pour in hot alkaline ionized water, stir, and leave for 3 minutes.
2. Put ice in another pot, and add sugar and 2 mint leaves.
3. Strain the tea made in step 1 into the pot of step 2, and remove any leftover ice when the tea gets cold.
4. Pour the tea made in step 3 into a glass with ice, and put the rest of the mint leaves on top.
Green tea (0 kcal per serving)
・Ingredients (4 servings): 1 teaspoon of green tea leaves, 2 cups of hot alkaline ionized water
・Directions:1. Put green tea leaves in a preheated teapot.
2. Pour boiling-hot alkaline ionized water equally into four cups, leave for 2 minutes until temperature drops to 90°C, and pour it back into a teapot. Swirl it so that the leaves mix with the hot water, and leave for 1 minute.
3. Pour equally into the cups.
[Point] Green tea made with alkaline ionized water has less bitterness and a brighter color.
Tea (0 kcal per serving)
・Ingredients (4 servings): Tea (1 tablespoon if leaves are finely cut, 2 tablespoons if leaves are coarsely cut), 3 cups of hot alkaline ionized water (4 cups if making lemon tea)
・Directions:1. Put tea leaves in a preheated teapot, pour in boiling-hot alkaline ionized water, stir, leave for 3 minutes, and stir again.
2. Strain the tea made in step 1 into preheated teacups. Add the desired amount of sugar and milk or a lemon slice.
Cinnamon tea (80 kcal per serving)
・Ingredients (4 servings): Tea leaves (1 tablespoon if leaves are finely cut, 2 tablespoons if leaves are coarsely cut), 4 cloves (1/8 teaspoon for powdered cloves), 2 cups each of alkaline ionized water and milk, 2 tablespoons of sugar, 4 cinnamon sticks
・Directions:1. Pour alkaline ionized water into a pot, add tea leaves and cloves, and put on the stove. Stir constantly with a spatula until it boils, and then add the cold milk. Continue stirring, add the sugar right before it boils, and turn off the stove.
2. Strain the tea made in step 1 into a preheated teacup, transfer the cloves into the teacup, and serve with a cinnamon stick.
